She desperately grabbed the hem of my pants.

As she shook her head violently, her distinctive red hair fluttered.

"Don't go, I'll be good! I'll listen to everything you say, I'll do anything! So please!"

She went beyond just grabbing my pants and wrapped her arms around my legs. Her determination to not let go was clear.

I understand her feelings, but such close contact was too provocative.

"Y-yes! Just tell me what to do! I'll do anything you say! Just don't leave! I'm begging you!"

For a moment, her face brightened up.

I sighed.

It was because the appearance of one of the minor bosses, a villainess, was exactly my type.

The man I had possessed wasn't even a main character. Not even a supporting character.

He was a lackey of [Epiris Academy’s], 2nd arc Villainess, [Mary Hyde].

His main role was to make a few snide comments whenever Mary Hyde confronted the protagonist.

He was such a minor character that he didn't even have a proper backstory.

I think he did appear in a few more scenes.

Come to think of it, this guy appeared briefly in the bad ending in the final arc.

The illustration depicts the horrors of war.

[Mary Hyde] dropping to the ground with a blank expression in front of this guy’s corpse was quite memorable.

The first time I saw it was while collecting illustrations, it was quite heart-breaking…

“…Wait, does that mean I’m going to die!?”

So, I’ve possessed this minor character. The problem with that is, if this world heads towards a bad ending…

The game I played, [Epiris Academy], is an otome school simulation and role-playing game.

The objective of the game is to control and develop the protagonist, [Emily Epiris], and achieve romantic relationship(s) with the four main male characters.

Of course, I skipped most of the scenes with the guys. After all, I was more interested in the female characters.

The villainesses who appear in arcs 1 and 2.

Arc 1's [Raphne Bell Martinez] and Arc 2's [Mary Hyde].

They were typical villainesses with pretty looks and prickly personalities.

Raphne, with her red hair, was a hot-tempered villainess who easily looked down on others.

Mary, with her blue hair, had a cool disposition and a sense of justice, presenting more of a rival feel.

I enjoyed playing it quite a bit.

“Hmm, if there’s a problem…”

Right, I only focused on the villainesses.

Therefore, I barely remember any information about the male characters who appeared in [Epiris Academy].

"Welp… I'm screwed."

I used strategy guides to skip through dialogue choices to get the endings I wanted.

Those glossed over choices held crucial information which could decide my future.

If I make a wrong choice and end up with a bad ending, I will die.

Luckily, even though I’ve forgotten how to navigate through the male character routes, I do remember the general flow of the game.

I also remember the items for Emily’s growth and some key tips for her development.

So, what must I do to avoid death in this situation?

Obviously, the flow of this world needs to avoid a bad ending.

Fortunately, there's only one ending where I die: when the war with the Demon Tribe starts and Emily fails to meet the required specs, resulting in a bad ending.

‘But just in case I can’t avoid it…’

Not everything in life goes as planned. Especially with my fuzzy memories and the fact that I’m not the main character Emily, it’s impossible to control everything perfectly.

So, regardless I should become strong enough to survive the war.

“Alright, I understand the general flow.”

Let’s start by solving the biggest problem.

To become stronger.

“Hey.”

And now, onto the second problem.

"Hey, pig. What have you been mumbling to yourself since earlier?"

"Haha, muttering like a freak."

“Hmm... I really need to deal with this first."

I habitually adjusted my non-existent glasses.

A week has passed since I inhabited Ken Feinstein's body, and now I’m sitting at my desk in my Academy classroom.

Surrounded by bullies.

“…I wish Mary would come.”

“Idiot, don't you see it’s raining today? Your master, Mary Hyde, isn't coming to school today.”

It seems like this extra character was set up to be bullied.
