Surprisingly, there are times when the trials are exactly the same.

For example, the city mentioned in the case file, Koshba, is one I’m already familiar with—it belongs to the Duchy of Heizen in the Kingdom of Luminous.

How do I know that?

‘It’s the city where we fought the Demon King’s army on the 33rd floor... Looks peaceful now though.’

Different time period, but it was a real city in a real world.

There’s a common theory—still unproven—that the tower doesn’t create new trials from scratch, but rather replicates or reconstructs historical events from various worlds.

As proof, you can choose to leave and wander around this fantasy world instead. You could return to Koshba to gather more evidence, or just ignore everything and go vacation in a beach town.

I never tried it on the 1st or 2nd floors, but if I wanted to, I could’ve turned around and walked out. The reason people don’t is because doing so might trigger a difficulty spike or throw you into a worse trial later on.

There was even a case where someone failed to catch the culprit on the 3rd floor and five years later, the perpetrator died somewhere else, returning the player to the real world.

Anyway, the point is, the cases aren’t infinite. So sometimes, other players end up getting assigned the same ones. That’s why I asked the viewers.

"Well… looks like no one here’s done this case before or they never reported it."

There’s a procedure for reporting cases that match perfectly, but honestly, about 50% of people skip it, and the rest only report it within their own guild.
